Das Juleum ist ein mehrgeschossiges Hörsaal- und Bibliotheksgebäude der ehemaligen Universität Helmstedt.

Das Bauwerk wurde zwischen 1592 und 1612 im Baustil der Weserrenaissance errichtet und zählt zu den bedeutendsten Profanbauten dieser Epoche in Norddeutschland. Den Turm mit Wendeltreppe und schrägen Fenstern schmückt das elfteilige Wappen des Herzog Julius von Braunschweig-Wolfenbüttel. Der Aufstieg durch das Treppenhaus mit 153 Stufen wird mit einem einzigartigen Ausblick belohnt. In der Ausstellung werden neben einem Modell der Stadt Helmstedt um 1750 auch Originale aus der Universitätszeit, wie eine astronomische Scheibe, ein Globus und Geschirr aus der Universitätsmensa gezeigt.
