Das Neschwitzer Heimatmuseum wurde am 27. November 2004 eröffnet.
Es wird von einer kleinen Interessengemeinschaft im Verein der "Kultur- und Heimatfreunde Neschwitz e. V." geführt.
Ständige Ausstellung:
- Frühgeschichte (mit Zeitstrahl)
- Ausgrabungsfunde unserer Umgebung
- Gesteinssammlungen (Vor ca. 2 Millionen Jahren verlief die Urelbe auch durch unser Gebiet, deshalb werden heute hier sehr viele schöne Steine u. Mineralien gefunden, z.B. Amethyst, Achat und versteinertes Holz. Gesägt, geschliffen und poliert - es sind sehr schöne Stücke in unserer Vitrine zu bewundern.)
- Besiedlung der Lausitz
- Sorbische Geschichte
- Historische Gebäude unserer Gemeinde (Nachbau von Modellen durch Schüler der ehemaligen Mittelschule Königswartha)
- Neschwitzer Handwerk und Gewerbe
- Wohn- und Lebensweise unserer Vorfahren

- Wir öffnen auch am Karfreitag, sowie an beiden Oster-, Pfingst- und Weihnachtsfeiertagen 13:00 - 17:00 Uhr
- Nach Voranmeldung können Sonderführungen für alle Tage gebucht werden (mindestens 5 Personen)
- Leider fehlt uns ein behindertengerechter Zugang, aber wir sind immer bemüht, eine Lösung zu finden
