Als "Ort mit Geschichte und Gegenwart" dient das zweigeschossige Fachwerkgiebelhaus aus dem 18. Jahrhundert Begegnungen der Dorfgemeinschaft oder es finden Kleinkunstveranstaltungen wie Ausstellungen, Figurentheater und Autorenlesungen statt. Die geologische Ausstellung gibt Auskunft über die bewegte Erdgeschichte der Region. Archäologische Lesefunde aus Wüstungsorten belegen den mittelalterlichen Siedlungsbestand im Einzugsgebiet des Nuhneflüsschens.

Die Scheune kann vor und nach den Veranstaltungen und nach telefonischer Terminvereinbarung (+49 (0) 29 81 14 28) besichtigt werden. Anfragen zu Veranstaltungen von Besuchern und Künstlern werden per E-Mail an info@borgs-scheune.de beantwortet.
