Das Grenzlandmuseum ist im ehemaligen Zollverwaltungsgebäude des Grenzübergangs Duderstadt/Worbis untergebracht. Es informiert über die Geschichte der innerdeutschen Grenze und ihre Auswirkung auf das Leben der Menschen und die Natur .

Das Grenzlandmuseum Eichsfeld am ehemaligen Grenzübergang Duderstadt - Worbis, liegt an der heutigen Landesgrenze zwischen Thüringen und Niedersachsen. Das im November 1995 eröffnete Museum will über die Geschichte der innerdeutschen Grenze und ihre Auswirkungen auf das Leben der Menschen und die Natur im Grenzgebiet informieren und dadurch die Erinnerung daran gleichsam als Mahnung an die Zukunft wachhalten. Ein Rundweg führt zu den früheren Grenzsperr- und Sicherungsanlagen an authentischer Stelle. Eine Wanderung über den ehemaligen Grenzstreifen, heute Naturschutzgebiet, zum 1. Naturerlebniszentrum der Heinz-Sielmann-Stiftung rundet den Besuch ab.
