Das Glasmuseum Passau beherbergt die weltweit größte Sammlung zum Glas aus Bayern, Böhmen, Schlesien und Österreich.

Das Museum beherbergt über 30.000 Gläser, davon über 15.000 ausgestellt und geben einen umfassenden Überblick über die verschiedenen Epochen der böhmischen Glaskunst von 1700 bis 1950, vom Barock bis zur Moderne. Der bekannte Schweizer Dramatiker Friedrich Dürrenmatt betitelte das Glasmuseum Passau als “Das Schönste Glashaus der Welt“.
