Die Wärterbude dürfte eine der allerletzten ihrer Art sein. Das so standardisierte Gebäude aus Wellblech war im gesamten Königreich Bayern an jeder Bahnstrecke zahlreich im Gebrauch und diente überwiegend als Dienstraum für Schranken- und Blockwärter. Die Innenausstattung der Wärterbude ist bis ins kleinste Detail stimmig. Sämtliche im Original erhaltenen Einrichtungsgegenstände bilden einen sehr wertvollen Bestandteil des kleinen, aber feinen Museums. Ergänzende Informationen enthalten zwei Erklärungstafeln.
