The museum showcases the mining history of the region

The museum documents the regional extraction of mercury, silver, and coal over 500 years through numerous minerals, fossils, tools, photos, plans, dioramas, and models. In addition, the museum offers videos about mining and fossils, a play mine for children, and a collection of historical photos from all areas of village life from around 1900 to today, thematically organized and commented on. On request, free age-appropriate worksheets are available for school classes.
