Ussishkin Museum on Kibbutz Dan is dedicated to the nature and landscape of the Galilee, Hula Valley, Golan Heights and Mount Hermon.
The initiative to establish this museum was due to an initiative to dry the Hula in the early '50s, due to concern that potions of the landscape would disappear and the fauna and flora would die out.
The museum was founded by members of Kibbutz Dan, led by Elimelech Horowitz, and funding for its establishment was provided by Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael in memory of Menachem Ussishkin, who was in charge of KKL for many years. Here await collections and displays of a variety of habitats and scenic areas of northern Israel, the Golan Heights, and Mount Hermon, and a special memorial exhibition to one that lived in Biblical times, based on archeological findings from the area of Tel Dan nearby. In addition, there is an amazing audiovisual show (in a number of languages) on the nature of the region and includes special activities for groups. The auditorium can fit up to 150 people.

Sunday-Thursday: 08:00-16:00.Friday: 10:00-14:00.
Groups should schedule the visit in advance.
