The permanent exhibition is dedicated to the impressive structure of the mountains, the fascinating Rin spring and the exploration of the enourmous cave system, as well as the rocklide from 1974.

Im heimelig eingerichteten Museum Amden lernen Sie Land und Leute von Amden und deren Geschichte auf angenehme Art kennen. Ein bedeutender Teil der Dauerausstellung ist geologischen Themen wie dem eindrücklichen Gebirgsbau, der faszinierenden Rinquelle, der Erforschung des riesigen Karstsystems, sowie dem Bergsturz von 1974 gewidmet. Regelmässig finden Ausstellungen von einheimischen Künstlern statt.

Für Gruppen sind im Museum auch interessante Führungen buchbar.
