The Ochsenlenke is a 2530 m high crossing that connects the Ahrntal with the Reintal.
The Ochsenlenke is a mountain pass in the Rieserferner Group in South Tyrol and lies at an altitude of 2887 meters. It connects the Ahrntal Valley with the Reintal Valley and is known for its alpine flora and the magnificent views of the surrounding peaks of the Rieserferner Group. Nearby are the villages of Rein in Taufers and Prettau, which serve as starting points for hikes and mountain tours in the surrounding valleys.
The pass is also very popular with mountain bikers, as it is one of the few such high passes that can be ridden almost all the way to the top if you are strong enough.
