Der Jaufenpass (lat. lugum lovis) verbindet das Passeiertal bei St. Leonhard in Passeier mit dem Wipptal bei Sterzing (Brennerstraße).
Eine sehr kurvenreiche Straße mit 20 Kehren und einer Länge von 39 km verbindet die beiden Täler.
Der Jaufenpass ist die kürzeste Verbindung zwischen Meran und Sterzing. Umgeben von der Jaufenspitze (2481 m) und dem Saxner (2359 m) ist dieser Übergang der nördlichste inner-italienische Alpenpass.
