Mult mai mică decât moscheea din Constanța, geamia din Mangalia nu ar trebui ignorată dacă vacanța ta pe litoralul românesc te poartă prin acest oraș.

Geamia „Esmahan Sultan” este cel mai vechi lăcaș de cult musulman din România , ridicat în anul 1575, de fiica sultanului otoaman Selim al II-lea. Se remarcă prin eleganța dată de simplitatea construcției și lipsa elementelor de decor exterior, iar decorația la interior este tipică pentru un astfel de lăcaș de cult ; mormintele islamice din jurul geamiei sunt vechi de peste 300 de ani.
