Dort, wo der "wilde" Teil des Nordparks auf den "ordentlichen" trifft, steht seit 2013 eine Steinskulptur mit der Cartoon-Figur "Sondermann". Die Vorlage stammt von dem Zeichner und Maler Bernd Pfarr (1958-2004). Die Skulptur formte der Bildhauer Andreas Rohrbach aus rosa Mainsandstein. Sie trägt die Inschrift "... und wieder ist eine attraktive Dame an mir vorübergegangen", ein Zitat aus dem Sondermann-Cartoon "Sondermann wird nachdenklich".
Nachdem die Nase der Sondermann-Skulptur im April 2025 schon zum zweiten Mal abgeschlagen wurde, hat die Nase nun eine sichere neue Heimat im Caricatura Museum Frankfurt – Museum für Komische Kunst gefunden. Alle Objekte der Komischen Kunst am GrünGürtel-Rundwanderweg entstehen in einer Kooperation zwischen dem städtischen Umweltamt und dem Caricatura.
