Monument in Berlin Tiergarten is one of the most important national symbols of Germany.

The Siegessäule was erected in the 1860s by Heinrich Strack on the Königsplatz to commemorate the unification wars from which the Prussian-dominated German Empire emerged. At the beginning of the Second World War, the column was moved to the Großer Stern, the central square in the Großer Tiergarten, together with the monuments of Bismarck, Roon and Moltke.
