Olavi Virta, an ordinary boy was born in Sysmä, Finland on the 27th of Fabruary 1915. He became a world famous tango singer of all times. The relief is situated in the little village where he was born.
Olavi Virta, perhaps the world's most wonderful baritone was born in Sysmä in the village of Särkilahti. He was and still is the most famous finnish tango singer of all times. There is a stone relief in his honor in the yard of the youth club in Särkilahti.
