Die Mariensäule am Residenzplatz in Eichstätt wurde 1777 als barockes Denkmal errichtet und bildet den Mittelpunkt des Platzes.
Sie wurde vom damaligen Fürstbischof Raymund Anton Graf von Strasoldo gestiftet und diente als Dank für die Bewahrung der Stadt vor Unheil sowie als Ausdruck der Marienverehrung. Die Säule besteht aus Juramarmor und trägt ein korinthisches Kapitell. Auf ihr thront eine nach Süden blickende Statue der Maria Immaculata, die aus vergoldetem Holz gefertigt ist. Der Sockel ist mit Reliefs und Inschriften geschmückt, die die religiöse Bedeutung des Bauwerks unterstreichen. Die Mariensäule zählt heute zu den prägenden Wahrzeichen Eichstätts.
