A bronze bust on an obelisk-shaped pedestal made of polished granite with applications of two bronze laurel branches crossed and tied with a bow, framing the recessed gold inscription.
In memory of the famous composer, who worked as an actor, singer and musician at the Kurtheater (the former playhouse) between 1827 and 1832. He is said to have composed the opera "Zar und Zimmermann" here and performed it in the Schauspielhaus.
A street was named after him in his honor.
