War memorial in memory of the fallen of the First World War
The First World War claimed far more lives than all previous wars. Against this backdrop, the victims of the floods in 1919/20 waived their compensation in favour of the war memorial erected in 1923. After the Second World War, the memorial was remodelled and supplemented with a memorial stone for the victims of the Second World War.
