Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe in the historical center of Berlin

The Holocaust Memorial commemorates six million people of Jewish origin who were murdered by the Nazis in the Third Reich. The memorial consists of over 2,700 concrete cubes, which were erected on an area of about 19,000 m² in the south of the Brandenburg Gate. The monument was constructed between 2003 and 2005.
