Galéria Mikuláša Galandu

Rodný dom významného slovenského maliara, zakladateľa moderny, grafika a ilustrátora Mikuláša Galandu.

Rodný dom Mikuláša Galandu bol 13. júla 1979 vyhlásený za národnú kultúrnu pamiatku. Priestory domu boli Turčianskou galériou v Martine upravené na výstavné účely v roku 1987. Dňa 1. júla 2001 sa stal rodný dom Mikuláša Galandu vlastníctvom mesta Turčianske Teplice.

Návštevníci majú možnosť si pozrieť 34 reprodukcií z ružového a modrého obdobia a jeden originál – obraz s názvom „Lom“, ktorý sa nachádza v pôvodnom maliarovom stojane. Vystavené sú tu aj ukážky ilustrácií, ktoré Galanda pripravil ku knihám spisovateľov a básnikov Pavla Dobšinského, Fraňa Kráľa, Jaroslava Zatloukala a Karla Hynka Máchy.

V historických priestoroch sa pravidelne konajú vernisáže súčasných autorov, ktorí vystavujú svoje zaujímavé diela na 1. poschodí.
