Gemeinde Wachtendonk
1908 erbautes langgestrecktes, zweigeschossiges, verputztes Herrenhaus der Firma Deuß und Oetker Seidenweberei (Betriebsaufnahme 9. 3. 1909), später Unternehmen der Vereinigten Seidenwebereien Krefeld. Bis zur Aufgabe des Betriebsstandorts 1967 war die „Verseidag“ größter Arbeitgeber am Ort mit bis zu 300 Beschäftigten. Danach wurde das Gebäude zur Fabrikation für selbstklebende Erzeugnisse genutzt. Die Fabrikationsgebäude selbst wurden nach Schließung auch dieses Betriebes im Zuge der Ortskern -erneuerung 1988 abgerissen. Das städtebaulich dominante Herrenhaus mit dem markantenkorbbogigen Eingang und der Originaltür steht unter Denkmalschutz. An dieser Stelle befand sich früher das Burgtor mit Durchgang durch die Stadtmauer zum befestigten Burgplatz.
