Mit 1.448,2 m Höhe ist die östliche Erhebung des Feldbergmassifs der zweithöchste Gipfel im Schwarzwald. Das aus Bruchsteinen errichtete Bismarckdenkmal wurde zwischen 1895 und 1896 von Fridolin Dietsche erbaut. Direkt daneben fällt die steile Karwand in den eindrucksvollen Felsenkessel des Feldsees ab, der durch Abschmelzen der Gletscher der letzten Eiszeiten entstanden ist.
