Monastery Moldoviţa belongs to the most beautiful Moldavian monasteries of Bukovina, in the north of Romania. The monastery church was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site thanks to the magnificent façade paintings.

Picturile de pe pereții exteriori sunt fresce autentice, stil post-bizantin cu influențe ale perioadei renascentiste și bine păstrate de-a lungul anilor. Printre figurile biblice ce se găsesc pictate, putem evidenția și imagini cu Aristotel, Sofocle, Platon și Pitagora.

Hramul mănăstirii este ""Buna Vestire"" (25 martie).

În vecinătate se alfă Muzeul mănăstirii și ruinele vechii mănăstiri contruită de Alexandru cel Bun. Jilțul Domnesc din vremea lui Petru Rareș (fiul lui Ștefan cel Mare) este cea mai valoroasă operă de acest gen din Moldova.
