Eingebettet in die weite Reusslandschaft liegt das ehemalige Kloster Gnadenthal – ein Ort von besonderer Ruhe und historischer Tiefe. Seine Ursprünge reichen bis ins 13. Jahrhundert zurück, als hier eine Gemeinschaft frommer Frauen ein Kloster gründete, das später zum Zisterzienserinnen-Konvent wurde.
Über die Jahrhunderte hinweg erlebte das Kloster Blütezeiten, aber auch Umbrüche durch Brände und kriegerische Ereignisse. Bekannt war Gnadenthal unter anderem für seine hochwertigen Paramenten-Stickereien sowie als bedeutender Wallfahrtsort.
Im 19. Jahrhundert wandelte sich die Anlage zu einem Ort der Pflege und Betreuung. Heute ist sie als Reusspark ein modernes Zentrum, das diese Tradition weiterführt.
Die schlichte Architektur und die offene Landschaft verleihen dem Ort eine besondere Atmosphäre, die Geschichte, Achtsamkeit und Ruhe auf eindrückliche Weise verbindet.
