Die über 900-jährige Klosteranlage ist als einzigartiges Baudenkmal weithin bekannt. Im Infozentrum Kloster Alpirsbach entdecken Sie mittelalterliche Zeugnisse aus dem Alltagsleben der Klosterschüler und der Geschichte des Klosters.
Bei der Führung werden Klosterkirche, Kreuzgang, Kreuzgarten, Dorment, die Orgel-Skulptur und die Dauerausstellung über die Geschichte des Klosters besichtigt. Das Museum "Mönche und Scholaren" kann ebenfalls besichtigt werden.
Regelmäßig finden Sonderführungen - zu den verschiedensten Themen des mittelalterlichen Lebens im Kloster - wie z.B. Ora et labora - Leben im Kloster, bei Kerzenschien und Glühwein, Bierbrauen im Mittelalater....u.v.a. - statt.
Ein besonderes Erlebnis sind die im Sommer stattfindenen Alpirsbacher Kreuzgangkonzerte mit berühmten europäischen Orchestern. In der Klosterkirche werden Konzerte der Alpirsbacher Kantorei unter Mitwirkung großer Chöre und Orchester veranstaltet.
