The Monastery of Agios Nikolaos was founded in 1675. The Byzantine church has an octagonal dome and its oldest icons date back to the 17th century.

Womens' monastery (Nunnery) founded in 1675. It originally was a mens' monastery that declined during and fell into disuse after the Second World War, only to reopen in 1983 as a womens' monastery. Its byzantine church bears an octagonal dome and the religious artwork in the new, wooden icon screen are fine examples of 17th century byzantine art.
