Iron mining at Gonzen boasts a long tradition. Wander through the abandoned tunnels with local guides and immerse yourself in this underground mine!

On the remarkable round walk through the labyrinth of tunnels you learn interesting facts about history and economic importance of the once largest iron mine in Switzerland.

Wer keine Zeit für eine Führung hat, erhält im liebevoll eingerichteten Museum einen Einblick in die Arbeit der Knappen im Bergwerk Gonzen.

Der Museumsbereich wurde im Jahr 2017 erweitert und kann bereits im Eingangs- und Foyerbereich erlebt werden. Während der Öffnungszeiten des Restaurants ist auch der hintere Teil der Restaurant-Kaverne begehbar.

Museumsführungen (inkl. Film) sind auf telefonische Voranmeldung möglich.
