Sehenswertes ehemahliges Grubengebäude am Schneeberg-Neustädtel-Bergbaulehrpfad

Die Fundgrube Sauschwart wurde 1499 erstmals erwähnt. Damals wurden Wismutocker und Silbererze, im 17. Jahrhundert Kobalterze gefördert. Heute sind das Huthaus, das Zimmerhaus mit dem angrenzenden Steigerhaus und die Schachtkaue erhalten. Der Verlauf der Huntebahn ist auf der Halde immer noch deutlich erkennbar.

Im Rahmen einer geführten Wanderung über den Bergbaulehrpfad ist ein Blick in die Grube möglich.
