Die Mühle wurde 1524 erstmals als "die Ölschlähin" genannt. Die Bezeichnung "Zechlesmühle" wird vom früheren Besitzer Ezechiel Siegele abgeleitet. Die Mühle ist heute noch in Betrieb und seit 1697 in Familienbesitz. Ein Mühlenladen ist vorhanden. Führungen sind nach Vereinbarung möglich.
