Nach einem Umbau im Jahre 1801/03 entstanden drei Mahlgänge und eine Oelmühle. Eine Schneidemühle und Scheune und Stall folgten als Neubau. Sie wurde bis 1880 betrieben, als sie einem verheerenden Feuer zum Opfer fiel. Im gleichen Jahr noch begann der damalige Besitzer mit dem Wiederaufbau der Wallengrüner Mühle. Das Mahlwerk selbst trieb jetzt eine kräftige Turbine an, die Schneidemühle bei Wassermangel eine im Maschinenhaus untergebrachte Lokomobile.
1931 wurde die Mühle mit einer Bäckerei erweitert und der Landwirtschaftsbetrieb verpachtet.
1965 wurde die Turbine abgebaut und durch einen Elektromotor ersetzt und der Mühlgraben verrohrt.
1977 erneuerte man die Schneidemühle. Die ältesten Maschinen darin waren das Sägegatter von 1920 und die Hobelmaschine von 1930.
Bis Anfang der neunziger Jahre produzierte die Wallengrüner Mühle noch Roggenmehl und Futtermittel. 1997 wurde der Betrieb der Mühle eingestellt. Heute dient die Wallengrüner Mühle Wohnzwecken.
