Das Gebäude steht unter Denkmalschutz.

Im Jahr 1304 erstmals urkundlich erwähnt, steht die Wassermühle an der Glems heute unter Denkmalschutz und das Gebäude wird als Wohnhaus genutzt. Die alten Mühleneinrichtung wurde verkauft. Im jahr 1985 wurde eine Ossberger-Turbine aufgestellt, die noch heute zur Stromgewinnung dient. Der Strom wird in das Netz der EnBW eingespeist.
