1347 wurde die Mühle erstmals urkundlich erwähnt und 1789 neu erbaut. Sie hatte ursprünglich drei Wasserräder, die 1888 durch ein einziges oberschlächtiges Wasserrad ersetzt wurden. Im Jahr 1937 wurde zur Unterstützung der Wasserkraft ein Dieselmotor aufgestellt. Die Mühle mit Mühlenladen ist auf die Herstellung von Bio-Produkten spezialisiert.
