Die Mühle wurde im Jahr 1350 unter dem Namen "Hartungsmühle" zum ersten Mal erwähnt. In den nachfolgenden Jahren wechselte dann mehrmals ihre Bezeichnungen. Die Mühle wurde 1815 abgebrochen und wieder neu aufgebaut. Den heutigen Namen Talmühle erhielt sie 1830. Die Mühle ist heute noch in Betrieb und ein Mühlenladen ist vorhanden.
