One of the 6 mills in Haßloch located on the Haßlocher Mill Path - today the seat of the Pfalzmühle riding club.
The Pfalzmühle was built in 1840. The builder, Jakob Müller from Mußbach, requested permission to name the mill Pfalzmühle. In 1841, he received the approval from the Royal District Commission in Neustadt. The residents of Mußbach and Haßloch greatly benefited from the construction of the mill. The Pfalzmühle is not located directly on the Rehbach, but is about 30 meters away from it, so a water inflow was dug from the stream. This supplied the turbine, which powered the mill, with water. After the water had done its work, it was redirected back into the Rehbach behind the mill. The mill operation was discontinued on December 31, 1963. Subsequently, it primarily switched to livestock farming. By the late 1970s, the mill transitioned to purely horse keeping. Rudolf Kling is credited with connecting the mill to the electrical power grid.
