The landscape wonderland of Upper Lusatia

Die Mittelmühle stand seit Anfang des 16.Jh. an der heutigen Mühlaue 19. Sie war eine Mahlmühle, der Antrieb erfolgte über ein Oberschlächtiges Wasserrad. Das Wasser dazu kam aus dem Mittelwehr. Diese staute das Landwasser etwa bei der Unteren Dorfstraße 32 auf eine Länge von 350m. 1932/33 wurde das Wehr im Zuge der Landwasserregulierung entfernt. Der Mühlbetrieb kam schon vorher zum Erliegen.
