Die Mühle ist funktionstüchtig und kann besichtigt werden. So findet alljährlich zum gesamtdeutschen Mühlentag am Pfingstmontag, aber auch zum
Mühlenfest oder zu anderen Anlässen, das traditionelle "Schaudrehen" der Mühle in den Wind statt, wo die Mühlengäste selbst mit anpacken können.

Besichtigung der Bockwindmühle (Mühlenführung) sind möglich vom 1. Mai bis 31. Oktober 2021 an folgenden Tagen:
