Eines der Wahrzeichen der Stadt wurde 1926 in nur fünfeinhalb Monaten im Stil des Funktionalismus erbaut.

Die Höhe beträgt 28 Meter. Seit der Rekonstruktion 1997/98 erstrahlt er wieder im alten Glanz. Das Fassungsvermögen des Wasserbehälters beträgt 500 qm Wasser.

In der ständigen Ausstellung kann man Interessantes über die Geschichte des Wasserturms erfahren. Von der Aussichtsplattform hat der Besucher einen herrlichen Ausblick auf Reichenbach und die Umgebung.

Aussichtsplattform und Ausstellungsraum sind nicht ständig frei zugängig.
