Der Hochturm in Rottweil wurde um 1230 auf der höchsten Stelle der Stadt errichtet. Er ist heute ein historisches Wahrzeichen.

Der Hochturm diente ursprünglich als Wachturm, beherbergte später eine Wohnung und ein Gefängnis.

Den Schlüssel zum Hochturm erhalten Sie in der Tourist-Information neben dem Alten Rathaus gegen Hinterlegung eines Pfands.
