Die Bismarcksäule Markneukirchen bietet einen herrlichen Blick über die Stadt. Man kann im Inneren auf den Turm aufsteigen.

Auf dem Oberen Berg in Markneukirchen befindet sich die älteste Bismarcksäule Sachsens. Sie wurde im Jahr 1900 errichtet und kann heute als Aussichtsturm täglich besucht werden. Sie ist 14 m hoch und der Aufstieg erfolgt über 58 Stufen.

Directions

Sie erreichen Markneukirchen über die A 72 - Abfahrt Plauen-Süd, weiter auf der B 92 Richtung Bad Brambach bis Adorf, und danach links über die B 283 Richtung Klingenthal. Am Ortseingang Markneukirchen OT Siebenbrunn halten Sie sich geradeaus in Richtung Stadtzentrum, im Kreisverkehr 1. Ausfahrt, und an der übernächsten Kreuzung rechts, dann wieder rechts.

Durch den Ort auf die Egerstraße, den Berg hinauf zum Oberen Berg.

Parken ist direkt an der Bismarcksäule möglich.
