Der neue, aus Lärchenholz gezimmerte Aussichtsturm wurde am 1. Mai 2016 eröffnet. 219 Treppenstufen ermöglichen den Aufstieg zur glasumrandeten Aussichtsplattform, von der in 38 Metern Höhe, hoch über den Baumwipfeln, der Blick über das ganze Ried bis hin zu den Alpen schweift.
