Rasa is a magical place in the Centovalli at 900 metres. It is the only village in Ticino that can only be reached on foot or by cable car (from Verdasio). For many, Rasa is a popular destination with beautiful hikes. For about 15 people, it is their home throughout the year, far from the city and the frenetic rhythms of today.
In Rasa, the pretty village centre with its beautifully tended gardens, the little church and the Grotto (restaurant) should be visited. The view from up here is also worthwhile.
