Agréable petit village, surprenant par son organisation en quatre hameaux. Pensez à visiter l’église romane, classée. Son origine est restée pendant longtemps un mystère.
Une légende datant du Romantisme raconte que l’église était issue d’un tombeau musulman. La vallée de Planès est très belle et une marche matinale vous fera peut-être découvrir une harde d’isards ou une colonie de marmottes. Le point culminant de l’itinéraire est l’Orri de Planès, lieu de pâture. Planès est un lieu de randonnée avec le GR 10 qui traverse le village. C’est aussi le départ de boucles de randonnées (Les Balcons de la Têt).
