A bustling seaside city between the mountains and the see
This city in Southern France is considered the capital of culture of Côte d'Azur. It is located at about 30 km from the Italian frontier and just about 10 km from Monaco. In other words: It lies between the mountains and the sea, with great views of its surroundings. Among the city’s most stunning sights are the ancient city center and the port. Being a coastal city, there is a pleasantly mild climate all year round. As a cultural hot spot it hosts a lot of cultural activities. Of course, there are lots of museums and churches as well.
If you feel like tasting the city’s local dishes, you should try "Socca", a pancake made out of chickpeas.
