Manhouce

Its history dates back to prehistoric times, having been inhabited by celts and romans, who left their legacy here, namely with the roman road that linked Viseu to Porto. This mountain village, whose oldest nucleus consists of the church and typical granite houses, is a place full of history and traditions, with emphasis on the Cantares de Manhouce, represented by the distinctive voice of Isabel Silvestre, a native singer of this land. In the vicinity of the village, natural wells and waterfalls are the delight of nature and adventure sport's lovers.
