Die Gemeinde Egg a.d. Günz mit ca. 1200 Einwohnern, liegt im landschaftlich reizvollen Landkreis Kneippland Unterallgäu zwischen Babenhausen und Memmingen. War der Ort früher rein landwirtschaftlich strukturiert, so hat sich die Gemeinde immer mehr zu einem lebenswerten Wohnort für Pendler entwickelt.Die Gemeinde Egg a.d. Günz verfügt über eine gute Infrastruktur. Kindergarten, Grundschule, Sport- und Freizeit- einrichtungen, Arztpraxis, Bank und ein Lebensmittelmarkt sichern eine gute Grundversorgung. Außerdem herrscht in der Gemeinde ein reges Vereins- leben. Durch die gute Anbindung nach Memmingen sowie die künftige Nähe zur A 96 wird der Standort von Egg a. d. Günz immer attraktiver.
