Aus einer reichen geschichtlichen Vergangenheit, ist eine moderne Gemeinde mit einem zeitgemäßen Gemeinwesen entstanden, die bemüht ist, allen wirtschaftlichen und kulturellen Bedürfnissen der Gegenwart und Zukunft gerecht zu werden.

Lechbruck wurde erstmals im Jahre 1398 im Urbar (eine Art Grundstückskataster) genannt. Allerdings führen Geschichtsschreiber die Entstehung Lechbrucks auf eine alte Römerbrücke zurück, die in frühen Zeiten, genau an der Stelle der heutigen Lechbrücke erbaut worden sei. Aber lassen Sie sich von der historischen Seite nicht täuschen. Lechbruck ist nämlich überaus stark in den Bereichen Handel und Gewerbe, und gerade für den Urlauber und Tagestouristen hat Sie vieles zu bieten.
