Die mittelalterliche Stadt Bad Urach liegt im UNESCO Biosphärenreservat Schwäbische Alb und hat sich mittlerweile weithin als beliebter Luft- und Heilkurort etabliert.

Unbeschwerte Radtouren im Ermstal oder Wanderungen von Aussichtsfels zu Aussichtsfels: die Natur rund um Bad Urach lässt sich besonders schön auf den Premium-Wanderwegen, den Grafensteinen, erleben. Im Anschluss laden nette Cafés und Gastwirtschaften rings um den Marktplatz zur Einkehr ein, wo man sich am besten mit schwäbischen Köstlichkeiten stärkt.

Oder aber man entspannt in einer der Thermal-Mineralquellen der AlbThermen. Reinstes Thermal-Mineralwasser in sechs verschiedenen Becken sorgt für Entspannung nach einer anstrengenden Radtour.

Die spätmittelalterliche Altstadt von Bad Urach lockt außerdem kleine und große Gäste mit Sehenwürdigkeiten wie dem ehemaligen Residenzschloss oder der Burgruine Hohenurach.
