The market town of Altlengbach lies in the middle of the western Vienna Woods. Particularly worth seeing here are the Gothic parish church, the ruins of the once fortified Altlengbach castle, the Unterthurm ruins, which were destroyed in the Turkish siege of 1683, and the old mill in Unterthurm with its mill museum. The beautiful circular hiking trails of various lengths as well as the cycle paths and mountain bike trails offer numerous excursion options for exercise and sports enthusiasts.
