Der Simon-Loschen-Leuchtturm gilt als der älteste an der Nordsee und ist heute noch in Betrieb.
Hier trifft norddeutsche Backsteingotik auf moderne Technik. Der Turm wurde im Jahr 1853 von dem Architekten Simon Loschen erbaut, einem wichtigen Vertreter des neugotischen Baustils in Bremerhaven. Der Leuchtturm zählt zu den Wahrzeichen der Stadt und steht unter Denkmalschutz. Unterhalb des Turms liegt die Einfahrt in den Neuen Hafen.
