Der Leuchtturm Obereversand wurde 1886/87 errichtet und ist der höchste Leuchtturm an der Wurster Nordseeküste.

Viele Jahre lang diente er als Seezeichen für die Schifffahrt und wurde von zwei Leuchtturmwärtern bewohnt. Danach war er eine Zeit lang Zufluchtsstätte für Schiffsbrüchige. Heute kann der Turm vollständig besichtigt werden. Von der Galerie aus genießt ihr einen imposanten Panoramablick auf das Wattenmeer.

Public transport

Sowohl Busse als auch die Bahn fahren die Wurster Nordseeküste an.

Directions

Mit dem Auto reist ihr aus der Richtung Münster über die A1 an. Am Bremer Kreuz geht es auf die A27 und weiter Richtung Bremerhaven/Cuxhaven. An der Ausfahrt Neuenwalde/Dorum abfahren und bis Dorum fahren, von dort geht es der Beschilderung nach weiter nach Dorum-Neufeld an der Nordsee.

Direkt am Kutterhafen befinden sich mehrere Parkplätze.
